On work orders from the District Social Welfare Officer, Kushinagar, the Sansthan painted information boards on government social welfare schemes at public offices across the district. The boards set out the scheme, the categories of assistance and the amounts payable so that eligible families can read them at the offices they visit.
The first order, issued on 15 March 2021 after a quotation process, covered boards of 8 × 7 square feet on the financial assistance scheme for victims of atrocities against Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes at the district’s 14 development blocks, 6 tehsils, the Vikas Bhavan and the Collectorate. A further order of 9 January 2023 extended the same publicity to the Collectorate, Vikas Bhavan, the office of the Superintendent of Police and the district hospital. On 21 August 2023 the office also ordered boards publicising old-age homes and the welfare of parents and senior citizens under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Rules, 2014.
Each painted board carries the credit line “Sahyogi Sanstha – Smt. Ramavati Devi Jan Seva Sansthan, Kushinagar”, identifying the Sansthan as the supporting organisation.
