The Neer Nirmal Pariyojana was a rural water supply and sanitation project in Uttar Pradesh assisted by the World Bank, the Government of India and the Government of Uttar Pradesh. In Kushinagar district the Sansthan worked with village communities under the project, and the District Development Officer, Kushinagar, certified this work in an experience certificate issued in June 2020.
The Sansthan’s records of the project consist of photographs of community meetings and of a women’s meeting at the Gram Panchayat level, each held under the project banner, together with information material on safe drinking water, sanitation and the prevention of encephalitis that was issued under the project and names the Sansthan as supporting organisation. Members of the Sansthan’s team completed the project’s training course on rural drinking water safety and sanitation in 2015 and a training-of-trainers course on the operation and maintenance of rural water supply and sanitation schemes in December 2018, both at the Deendayal Upadhyaya State Institute of Rural Development, Lucknow.
